Jane Austen’s House Museum is a charity which aims to protect and preserve the house that was Jane Austen’s home for the last eight years of her life, and to promote education and in particular the study of English literature, especially the life and works of Jane Austen.

As a charity, we are dependent on the generosity and goodwill of those who support us. Support can range from donations to volunteering at the museum.
