Jane Austen's House Museum is today launching its 2017 Bicentenary Events Programme. Please visit our What's On page for more information and booking details. Spanning throughout the year, the varied programme features something for everyone. With Guided Walks, Talks, Workshops and much more on offer, celebrate this bicentenary year with us and book a place.

Saturday 1 April: Writing Workshop with Rebecca Smith

Our first event is Writing Workshop: People Place and Plotting with Rebecca Smith on Saturday 1 April, and is suitable for all abilities. Drawing inspiration from Austen’s unfinished novel Sanditon, this workshop will use a series of practical writing exercises to develop your skills of characterisation and plotting alongside techniques to help you captivate your readers. Book your place today!
